ABOUT
In a disused warehouse factory in Pobla Nou, Barcelona, SPINNING JENNY was a one-off, fashion showcase and platform for young, contemporary Spanish and European designers to show their work to an audience eager to discover alternative to the presentation and trends in fashion.
Presented as a fringe event during Barcelona fashion week, SPINNING JENNY brought together some of the cities and Europe's vibrant fashion designers, along with musicians, artists and film makers. Moving away from the traditional catwalk, installation, video and film the aim was to present an alternative to the existing 'presentation' models of fashion. By mixing theatre-live art-stage design-film and installation, SPINNING JENNY offer news possibilities for fashion based events.
