Urban Knights / 2013
Urban Knights is a programme of events, which provokes and promotes practical approaches to urban governance and city living. The programme brings together people who are actively producing alternatives to our given city infrastructures, norms and perceptions.
At each event speakers present and discuss their work for 10-mins, followed by questions and conversations with the audience. In keeping presentations short, the aim is to create a space for dialogue and interaction with the audience.
This first edition of Urban Knights took place at the Science Gallery Dublin and BetaHaus, Berlin and brought together designers, architects, urban planners, artists, city councillors, writers, festival directors, business and social entrepreneurs who presented tried and tested examples for how we can live differently in the cities.
