As part of Spike Island's artist studio opening, on the 2nd May 2008, between the hours of 18.00-21.00, I invited, palm reader, Mr. Keith Anderson to read the palm’s of selected audience members attending the opening. Sarah, Michael, Hazel, Lori, Audrey and Tim's palms were read. After each reading, a polaroid profile picture was taken for the participants, plus they wrote down one piece of information which they found surprising from the reading.
The artefacts of the reading were left as traces of the reading in the studio, during the remaining opening days.
Mr. Keith Anderson is 73 years old and has been professionally reading people’s palms for over 40 years. Based in Bristol, he created the poster ‘The Secrets of Your Future’, which allows you decipher your prospects using various methods.
